Consignment Policies

Little People's Shoppe maintains the highest quality and standards in what we sell, and therefore we require high standards in the merchandise we accept for consignment. Some guidelines to keep in mind are listed below:

Consignment items are only accepted by appointment
We prefer to give your items our full attention, so we require an appointment
Clothing must be produced within the last three years
Older clothing and styles do not sell well
All clothing must be freshly laundered and neatly folded; must not be wrinkled, free of pet hair, and no cigarette smoke.
Children's clothes must be in standard size totes (up to 22#)
Maternity wear must be presented on hangers (will be returned)
All clothing must have size tag and brand tag, or will not be accepted
We only accept clothing that is in like-new or excellent condition - Clothing that has stains, holes, frayed edges, pilled, or is missing pieces will not be accepted
Please put sets together (same size, same manufacturer only)
We do not accept stuffed animals as mandated by the PA Department of Labor
Games and toys must be clean, working batteries (if applicable)and have all pieces - No child would want a game or toy that doesn't work; we do not accept incomplete/broken items
Equipment must be manufactured in the last six years - Must have all pieces, be clean, and have working batteries if applicable

Items under recall are not accepted - We check all items for recalls, and will not accept these items until the recall cause is addressed
